The Legacy of Blue Rose Ranch
Blue Rose Ranch, Inc., founded in 2006, is one of the largest and most respected Horse Rescue Organizations in the nation. In 2025, the organization expanded and formed a new non-profit, Blue Skye Ranch, to take over the core missions of rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and youth programs at the Blue Rose Ranch location in Springfield, Colorado. This change made it possible for Blue Rose Ranch to expand its outreach to now serve greater needs of the horse rescue industry through the Blue Rose Ranch Trust. The Trust provides direct financial support and consulting assistance to new and existing horse rescue nonprofits.
Throughout the horse rescue industry, there are many examples of organizations that have great people with great hearts, fulfilling great purpose, but they lack the business acumen and financial stability it takes to run a successful rescue business that is able to weather the storms that come down the road of business life. Make no mistake, running a horse rescue is a business as well as a cause. The horse rescue industry, going forward, requires additional, better, financially stronger rescues, that also have passion and purpose.
The Blue Rose Ranch Trust was established to assist organizations that will be the future of horse rescue.
